In the main event for the FFC professional featherweight championship, Colorado’s Miguel Barrientos (6-2) submitted Roy’s Teague Vigil (5-5) late in the third round of a scheduled five-round fight. Vigil, who entered on a five-fight win streak, took the opening round, but Barrientos applied steady pressure. He bloodied Vigil’s face with punches, hurt him with leg kicks (especially late in round two), and eventually took the fight to the ground for the finish.
The co-main event delivered an even bigger shock. Layton’s Ammon Garcia (now 4-2-1), coming in as the favorite on a multi-fight streak, was knocked out by Las Vegas’ Davon Duncan (8-3) just 33 seconds into their 160-pound catchweight bout. Duncan landed a clean check right hook that ended the fight instantly.

Kamuela Mamone (Hawaii, fighting locally) dominated Gabriel Muscat over three rounds in a lightweight bout for an impressive MMA debut.
Haseeb Khetab submitted Farmington’s David Kim late in round two of a flyweight fight after Kim suffered a bad cut.
Alex Castaneda submitted Dietrick Jessop (Layton) via armbar late in round two.
Braden Peterson stopped Michael Delozier early in round three of a heavyweight bout after a damaging leg kick.
Tyler Call and Sam Van Wynen both scored first-round stoppages in their professional debuts.
On the amateur side, Braeten Jorgensen (Las Vegas) captured the FFC amateur bantamweight title with a narrow decision (48-47 across the board) over Saratoga Springs’ Aidan Egler in a competitive five-rounder. Ethan Ojukwu won the amateur heavyweight title by stoppage in round three against Mike Gullion, while other amateurs such as Byron Sneed and Beth Silva also picked up wins.
