Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect almost nothing, we never sell your email, and the ads use standard cookies you can opt out of. The long version is below, in plain English.
Who we are
Greene MMA (greenemma.com) is an MMA news and fight-week site, part of the greene.bet family. This page explains what information moves through the site, why, and what your choices are. Questions any time: hello@greene.bet.
What we collect
Very little, and only what you hand us:
- Newsletter email. If you sign up for The Greene Corner, we store the email address you give us so we can send you the newsletter. That is the only thing we use it for. We never sell it or trade it.
- Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting providers record basic technical data when a page loads — IP address, browser type, pages requested — for security and to keep the site running.
We don't require accounts, we don't ask for names, and we don't collect payment information. Reading the site requires giving us nothing.
Advertising and cookies
We display advertising to keep the site free. Here's the part that matters:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of many other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
The site itself does not set tracking cookies of its own for readers. Our staff publishing tools use session storage for a passcode, which affects nobody but us.
Services we rely on
- Google Firebase stores our stories and newsletter list. Google's own privacy policy covers their infrastructure.
- Netlify hosts the site and keeps standard access logs.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces you're reading; loading them sends your IP address to Google's servers, as with any file loaded from the web.
- Google AdSense serves the advertising described above.
- The Odds API supplies betting lines. No reader data goes to them — the numbers only flow one way.
- If we move newsletter sending to a provider (such as Beehiiv or Buttondown), subscriber emails will be processed by that provider under its own privacy policy, solely to deliver the newsletter.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time — every email includes a way out, or just tell us at hello@greene.bet.
- Deletion. Email us and we'll delete your address from our list. No hoops.
- Ad personalization. Use the opt-out links in the advertising section above.
Children
This site covers professional fighting and discusses betting lines. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page with a new date. We won't quietly change what we do with your email.
